Delete action works intermittently ($10)

Both pressing the delete button or right-clicking on an item and then pressing "Delete conversation" only works intermittently. I cannot see a pattern into when it works and when it doesn't.

I can confirm that this happens to be sometimes as well, but I'm unsure why it happens. I can't seem to reproduce the issue consistently.

I've managed to reproduce it in debug mode. It reports:
      [deb] 17:10:31 0.678065 geary-controller.vala:2465: Not archiving/trashing/deleting; viewed conversation is last deleted conversation

In this moments (loki) I have the same problem, delete action only work sometimes.

I get this quite frequently also. I've found that restarting Mail isn't enough - you need to kill off the background mail fetch process and then start Mail again. After that I am able to delete items again.
