unable to copy image to Clipboard

Images from the email body are displayed, but I'm not able to copy them to the clipboard, or save them somewhere...

Mail offers certain options when you right click on parts of the email body, e.g. Select Message, Select All or Copy Link.
There is no such option for an image you perform the right click on.

Adding "Save as..." for images like it is in place for attachments is a valuable addition to Mail.

I took a deeper look into the source code.
Mail handles emails depending on their mime types, all nested content types are read recursively and processed.
The source code for mime handling is quite complex. It will take some time to implement this feature.

I forgot to mention the second way : paste a clipboard image to the
body... Probably linked to the same difficulty
