Bug Description

Elementary Loki 64bit on Acer Cloudbook 11 (AO1-132):

Everytime I lock screen with keyboard shortcut (super+L) or the timer kicks in, I then can't log back in. Password field doesn't allow me to type anything and I can't even reboot or anything as indicators also don't work. In fact everything seems to be frozen except mouse pointer. Only thing I can do is press power button to force shutdown. I can't switch to terminal (tty1-tty6) for some unrelated reason (I can't switch to it at all, not just from lock screen).

On the other hand if I close a lid and suspend, the greeter works just fine for password input (indicators still don't work though).

I just tried an idea I got while writing the bug report (I didn't want to test it stright away as I feared to loose my session):

On lock screen I can switch to guest session (login button works with enter key, but not with mouse), then logout from it and then I can log back to my original session - password input now works. So at least I found a way to get back to my session after screen lock and I don't have to force shutdown. I just hope nobody will see me doing this :( I'd prefer having it fixed properly.

One more observation - I don't have to log into guest section, just switching users in the list at lock screen (my user -> guest -> my user) with arrows will allow me to type password. That's much better, I may even consider it another level of security :) Not for noobs though...
