Selection does not continue from previously entered directory when navigating with arrow keys

Bug Description
To replicate, try the following:
1. Enter /tmp (or any other directory further down) using your mouse or keyboard
2. Press backspace to return to the parent directory
3. Now /tmp is highlighted, so one would assume that pressing down (within list view) would select /usr next, but instead the selection jumps to the top

This bug does not happen in Files revision 2048 although I am not sure which merge fixed it.
