Bug Description

If you select a couple of files with your mouse (by dragging a "rectangle" open) and then immediately unselect those in the same drag, it crashes with the following error:

Gtk:ERROR:/build/buildd/gtk+3.0-3.14.13/./gtk/gtkrbtree.c:914:_gtk_rbtree_node_find_offset: assertion failed: (node)
Aborted (core dumped)

This is confirmed under the following circumstances:

1) List or Column View
2) Rubberbanding starts on blank space below the last row.

It may be necessary to re-instate the prohibition on start to rubberband on the blank space in List or Column View (Thunar and PCManFM do not permit it)
