Bug Description

When selecting multiple files or folders in list view, the selection highlights are aesthetically inconsistent: some are highlighted by a blue rounded box, while the last selected item is highlighted by a blue row.
I believe the selection should instead highlight all the rows of selected files.

The highlighted row indicates the current position of the cursor within the selection.

There is a problem in that the position of the cursor is not visible outside a selection, which needs addressing.

Is the presence of two different "selection styles" (rounded corners and whole row) for the same selection an expected behaviour? I get the rounded corner if I select a file by clicking its icon; I get the whole row if i click the filename.
