Bug Description

Actually, it looks like this bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gvfs/+bug/1361906 "gvfsd-ftp crashed with SIGABRT in g_mutex_unlock_slowpath()"

How to reproduce:
1. Open Files
2. Connect to remote FTP Server
3. Open a file in a text editor, change it and save
OR
3. Create a new file on the server

Looks like it is already fixed in Ubuntu in package gvfs - 1.20.2-1ubuntu3.
Freya beta 2 is using gvfs - 1.20.2-1ubuntu1 version now.

On another distribution using gvfs - 1.20.2-1ubuntu2 (like Freya now), I don't have that bug.

I can not manage to perform the fix proposed by Pablo Rivas: the 14.10 version of gvfs won't install on 14.04, it needs dependencies from 14.10 !

This will be fixed in Loki, which uses a later version of gvfs (currently on 1.27.3-ubuntu1). I do not have a problem creating or modifying files on a remote ftp server using Loki
