path bar address typing doesn't work anymore

Bug Description

It looks like in fixing https://bugs.launchpad.net/pantheon-files/+bug/1397132 by allowing type-to-select through the pathbar, we've broken the traditional use of the pathbar: to type an absolute or relative path to a file.

To reproduce:

1. ctrl+L or select the right side of the pathbar to enter path editing mode,
2. type "~/music", "/usr/share/icons" or somewhere else you want to go,
3. press enter, and...
4. nothing happens

Pantheon Files used to let me do this and it had a great autocomplete to help finish directory names.

Now this essential feature is gone. Can we get it back?
