Bug Description

Simple operations suchas copy / paste from one folder to another are made difficult because of the owner / permission system.

What I suggest is that if a user trys to copy eg: ~/Icon.png from ~/ to /usr/share/applications/elementary/128/ that instead of delivering a error
"Error opening file '/usr/share/applications/128/Icon.png': Permission denied

It should have a popup that says
"The directory you are trying to copy to is a "system folder" owned by "root", please authenticate to continue."
Password:
Continue | Cancel

Several times every day I have to drop to guake and launch "sudo pantheon-files" or "gksu pantheon-files" just to simply copy a file between user | root and www

I would highly recommend and request this feature please.

Changed in pantheon-files:
importance: Undecided → Wishlist
status: New → Confirmed
