Bug Description

So, I've found some things that don't work when searching in Files (Ctrl+F).

- Mounted a second hard drive in Files manually, searched for a folder that is on this hard drive. Search feature doesn't find it.

- Interestingly, I do find some (not all) files on this hard drive, maybe because I already watched them with Audience. For example, Search finds the file "Game Of Thrones... .mp4" when searching for "game of" but not the folder "Season 2" (which contains said mp4) when searching for "season".

- Also, searching for "game of " (that's 8 characters, space at the end) finds the file while "game of t" shows no results (9 characters, 2 spaces).

I don't know, the new title does not describe my issue properly. Search doesn't find previously opened files/ folders either when I look for "game of t". MIght have to do with searching for eight characters or two spaces. Also, the folder I watched movies from does not show up in search results, even though I clearly opened it before.

I don't get why this bug isn't marked as important as searching in not previously visited locations is a crucial feature !

Files doesn't search recursively. If you have this directory structure, "PARENT > GOT > S04 > E02.mp4 and you are in PARENT directory then pantheon-files only get GOT in search result. S04 or E02.mp4 will not be in search domain. It's only search in current directory.
