Ctrl + F should always clean the path bar

Bug Description
When the symbolic icons are displayed, then when you hit Ctrl + F the search icon appears and you can type a text.
However when you click in the breadcrumbs bar, it shows the whole path and here when you hit Ctrl + F.
The search icon appears but you've the whole path next to the search icon.
The whole path bar should be removed otherwise you can't search.

Could you be more precise about how to reproduce the bug?
When I press Ctrl + F, the breadcrumbs bar disappears for me.
A video would be even better.
