Android devices are not being detected when connected through USB

Bug Description

I tried connecting various android devices and none of them were being detected. both in files and nautilus.
I think there is some serious internal bug which has to be fixed to detect android phones

Are you trying to connect the android device using MTP mode or USB storage mode?

The second one should work correctly. The first one, though, is resolved on a new version of GLib, that won't be backported to Luna because of the risk of further bugs.

The expected behavior would be for phone to show as USB storage devices in the Files sidebar.
