"open in new tab" for devices is not working properly

Bug Description
Open file manager after login at first time, from devices section on left panel, select one hard drive and right click on that and try to "open in new tab". It opens in same tab.

Please could you confirm whether this bug is still occuring in Freya (beta1 or later)? It appears to be fixed for me.
