Bug Description
Currently the default icons/thumbnails in grid view are too small to be particularly useful when trying to find photos. Even the basic folder icons featuring the Music, Documents, etc. emblems are tough to make out on monitors with higher pixel densities.
Implementing a slider to adjust the zoom level would be a good alternative approach.

<Ctrl><+> can be used to increase the thumbnail size. I think there is already a bug that will change the default size to one step bigger.
