When I create a new folder in 'Windows Explorer' say, once I have renamed it and hit 'enter' the folder is selected so I can see where it is. And usually when we create folders we want to put things in them, so I'd hit 'enter' again to enter that new folder.
In Files currently when a folder is created it is not selected, if the folder is create amongst hundreds of other folders I have no simple way of finding it straight away. As soon as its create its re-arranged (in my case alphabetically) out of the folders on screen.

This also applies to new files, eg create a new .vala file, would be sweet to be able to hit enter and get editing one fluid double strike on the enter key.
