Bug Description
When detaching a removable device, Files prompts if trash on it should be purged. If the process takes a while you can click the "eject" icon twice and get the same dialog again and get a second trash-purging operation running in parallel.

From bug 1107753:
"I'd suggest replacing the eject icon with a spinner once unmounting is initiated, to make it obvious that the action was successfully initiated and is in progress."
That would fix it.
