Bug Description
Currently by default stuff opens in the current window or in a new window. You have the option to work with tabs by right-clicking on it but this can't be made the default option.
Add an option in preferences to "open all new windows in tabs" so actions currently opening a new window would open a new tab instead (such as right-clicks in the dock). Keep the right-click menu intact so the user can still open a new window if wanted.

One example of this is when a new drive is plugged in: it's auto-mounted and a new window appears to show its content. There should be an option to have a new tab appear instead.
