Dock icons go invisible when rearranging

When rearranging icons on the dock icons go invisible while dragging and return once placed. This is intermittent and I have see no pattern to this behaviour. I can attempt to drag the same icon multiple times, 50% of the time it works as expected 50% of the time the icon vanishes until placed.

Just to note the physical space of the icon is present just not the icon.

Quite hard to reproduce or even to just trigger it once, but I saw this now.

Glad you've reproduced this now, I seem to be able to reproduce every time,

A behaviour I've noticed is that if it vanishes and I release the mouse button to cancel the drag, the second time I click to drag it behaves as expected. It also seems that sometimes its better or worse depending on whether other apps are open.

Could this potentially be a graphics driver issue specific to my hardware?

I am not sure how this can happen yet. I don't think this is a graphics driver issue.
