wrong application is launched after click

Sometimes I click on a launcher, but the wrong application starts up, i.e. one corresponding to a launcher next to the one I had clicked. I don't know how to reproduce this, since it seems to occur randomly.

This seems hardly possible.

If this happens which item gets "animated" (bounced or darkened)? It should not be the one your mouse is hovering if this bug is real. So I need some proof like a screencast together with your dock-settings if you able to reproduce it.

Sorry I couldn't get back with this, but there was no way to predict when it would happen. Anyway, I still get this bug. I also have a feeling it is related to a second-monitor setup (like I have).

I finally managed to capture the bug with my phone. See video attached. The mouse pointer is on the Thunderbird icon but it is as if I was clicking on the icon next to it, i.e. Popcorn. You don't see the Popcorn window coming up because it's being displayed on another screen. As soon as I slightly move the pointer, Thuderbird is correctly displayed.

Which version of plank are you running while having reproduced this?
Preferable attach the *full* output of running "plank -d" in a terminal.
