Bug Description

I noticed this after updating to 0.5.3, the initial behaviour of the Play/Pause button is Play/Stop. I love Panflute this is minor thing, not sure if its a bug or the intended behaviour. Here are some screen shots to illustrate:

When initially started by clicking on mp3 file using VLC, Play/Pause button is Stop only:

If I click Pause on VLC, the button changes to a Play button:

Then click Play on VLC or on Panflute changes button to Play/Pause:

[PK comment: OP is using VLC 1.0.3, and similar problems appear with VLC 1.0.2. VLC probably changed how its MPRIS interface behaves between 0.9.x and 1.0.x.]

I'm still seeing this bug with Panflute 0.6.0 using VLC 1.4.0

VLC's behavior might have changed again; I had tested Panflute against VLC 1.0.2.

Wait, with VLC 1.4.0 or 1.0.4, which is the latest I see on the VLC website?

Sorry about the typo I meant 1.0.4.

I can reproduce this with both VLC 1.0.2 and VLC 1.0.4 using Panflute 0.6.0. The first time a song is played, the applet displays the stop button instead of the pause button, and stays this way until you pause and unpause playback from VLC.

Paul - I can confirm this is fixed in VLC 1.0.4. Thanks, great work as always :-)
