Bug Description
If multiple players are running simultaneously, there should be a way to tell Panflute which one to pay attention to. For example, if someone uses VLC for video playback and Banshee for listening to music, there should be a way to tell Panflute to control Banshee, even if VLC had been started first. I also find the current behaviour really annoying! I often use more then one VLC, especially when playing different albums, and to choose between which client Panflute controls would be great.
Another issue related to this is when I open a new instance of VLC (say to load up a second album). Now that 2 VLC clients are running, I close the first one, but Panflute wont switch control automatically to the second one, unless I close the second VLC and reload. It is as if Panflute keeps the VLC media control icons up as it sees a VLC client running, but remains hooked to the first instance of VLC, dispite it being closed.
