Bug Description

When using a dark panel, the Panflute GNOME panel applet still uses black text on a grey background. See the attached screenshot. It would be nice if it would stick to the defined colours.

Which theme are you using? I tried reproducing it in DarkRoom and High Contrast Inverse (the two dark themes on my system), but the text is drawn in the right color. (The background color in the metadata and rating widgets is a bit off in DarkRoom, though.) I've attached what I see on my system.

This isn't the first I've heard of this bug -- someone had e-mailed me privately about it too. I just need to figure out what's triggering it for you but not me.

I'm using Shiki-Human. What I suppose is happening is that it doesn't select the normal BG colour but the BG colour of some widget or another. You should be able to find out which by searching both themes for where they define the colours that actually show up instead of the correct background colour.

This bug also causes solid-color backgrounds to be drawn in (semi)-transparent panels.

I downloaded and installed the new package, and it's looking great now, thanks for fixing it :) (And for Panflute in general, of course)
