Bug Description
Is it planned?
I really like your applet, but it can't be used in Gnome 3 (fallback mode) which I use now. In the fallback mode Gnome 3 has a traditional panel with applets, but the way an applet registers itself differs from Gnome 2. I mean, it should not be hard to implement. There are some Gnome 3 fallback mode applets in Gnome code repository which can be used as examples (e.g., workspace switcher and other "standard" applets).
The applet will be especially useful in Gnome 3 as AFAIK it depends on (= requires) PulseAudio unlike Gnome 2. In Gnome 3 there is a standard sound applet, but it does not provide an easy way to control each application's volume level like your applet (which is a *very* useful feature for me).
