something recent broke the scrollbars, could you dig into it and see which update broke them?

looking, though it seems the ayatana-scrollbar update is not related
as I downgraded quite a few versions.

It could be specific to Rhythmbox itself as I am not sure If I saw the problem somewhere else. my comment "the problem happens with some other apps as well" might be my mind imagination of the same problem happening in the 'About' window of rhythmbox.

I have tried the last 3 versions of gtk+3, also downgraded glib(irrelevant?) and went back quite far for the ayatana-scrollbar and the problem is there.

(I did re-login after every component downgrade)

I can reproduce the bug and I believe it is Rhythm Box dependent cause I haven't had this issue until I installed Rhythm Box

rhythmbox uses gdk_disable_multidevice () to workaround maybe a weird behaviour in their app with XI2. I'll try to see if I can handle these weird cases in the library, thanks for the bugreport
