Bug Description

I tried to create an x86_64 bootstrap image today and got an odd error:

[2013/06/07 07:14:48 PM] [ERROR] cannot interpret value 'x86_64' as type default

Which led me to discover that default types can't have underscores in them? Why on earth are we being so restrictive with the default type?
