Same consist listed multiple times in dropdown box

When I click in the Consist: drop-down box, the same consist is listed multiple times. This happens after I make edits to the original .con file, like adding more wagons for example. Earlier versions of the .con file appear in the game when I click on these occurrences in the dropdown. It seems OR is saving those earlier versions somehow, somewhere. After so many edits to the .con file, I can no longer access the current version through the drop down.

Is there some way to flush these old versions of the .con file from the dropdown listing? Where is OR saving the old .con information so we can get rid of it?

BTW, I tried deleting OR from the Program Files(x86) folder and doing a fresh install, and deleting all data files under AppData\Roaming\Open Rails subfolders, but still the same multiple listing of the .con file in the Consists: dropdown appeared!
