Wheels do no rotate

Bug Description

I have several diesel shunters with coupling rods. If I drive the loco with the simple controls option set the wheels do not rotate. With the option off they do. This is Open Rails v X1.3.1-348
This happens in Explore mode on any MSTS route.

Zip file with content to demonstrate:
Contains trainset collection and a consist. I've loaded this to Scottish Capital Express demo and the issue persists there.

I get the problem too. Problem instead does not appear in OR NewYear MG rev. 98.1

I think that I have fixed this issue in the latest unstable version.

I can confirmm that wheels rotate on my shunter using the unstable version whether simple physics option is set on or off.
