With x.3927 a fourth generalization of the bug fix has been performed, managing the case of cabview texture aspect ratio greater than window aspect ratio (with Alt-LeftArrow and Alt-RightArrow the side cut out parts of the cab can be seen).

With x.3951 an exception has been introduced: as there are many squeezed 1024x1024 cab front .ace textures that look correctly in 4:3 windows, 1024x1024 textures are all considered squeezed in order to look correctly in 4:3 windows.
