Broken coupler only puts rear part in to emergency braking

Bug Description
As the title says it, the rear cut away portion does but the head end doesn't.
Whether this is a bug or wish: Has this been set to happen because it annoys me when I'm testing my stock for pro couplers or even play inpatient with a big power consist without helpers?
Can this be fixed by when the confirmation of broken couplers appears the head end part to go into emergency as well and not just the cut away cars left behind instead of keep going as if we cut away from the train?
Since "\" is to open the angle cock, may this be the relief to get it out of emergency at a STOP by pressing "alt+\"?
