System.IO.InvalidDataException at ORTS.Simulator.InitializePlayerTrain (Activity fails to load)

Running ProTrain Tauernbahn, activity SPR 1502(p4) fails to load but other activities in this route are ok.
Error: System.IO.InvalidDataException: Player train original position not clear

It could be that either the train cannot be placed at the required position, e.g. because of a static consist, or it could be that the location is blocked by an AI train.
You can do two tests to see which is the problem : 1) run without traffic and 2) use a shorter train.
If you can't find out what the problem is, I can generate a special test-version which provides some more info on what prevents the train being placed in it's required position.
It is most likely to be an activity problem, though, and not a program error.

Thanks for your reply. I'm not sure, as a 'newby' if I should reply by e-mail or add notes in Launchpad so I hope this reply gets to you.
I tried the 2 tests but no success, so I ran the activity in Release V.8 and it loads and runs ok. The train starts the activity from a siding and is reversed a couple of Kms to Salzburg Hbf to start the activity. So it looks like the problem is in x.1492.
I hope this helps. Also, massive thanks for all the voluntary work you guys are doing in OR - the transformation of MSTS is stunning and you are very much appreciated.

Attached is a special version which generates additional information in the log-file.

To run this :
- go to your Open Rail directory, subdirectory : trunk\program
- rename the existing RunActivity.exe file
- unpack the attached zip-file, place the RunActivity.exe file in program directory
- run the activity as usual.

By the way, the best way to reply is through Launchpad, that doesn't quote all previous info.
