I've had an unfortunate couple of incidents where my local freight would teleport from one track to another, sometimes a good distance away from where it was.
The first instance occurred on the LSRC when I was attempting to back into the Peru transfer yard and as I was backing through the switch my whole train ended up on the destination track but without going through the switch. This was awkward because the front of my train was travelling through a cut of cars I was scheduled to pick up later. I exited then resumed the activity and it happened again. I decided to pretend I didn't see that and keep on backing into the yard. As I was reversing my train teleported once again, this time on the track leading into the yard. Even though I ended up in the yard it was too much. Ruins the immersion.
It occurred on the NW Line 6 this morning. I decided to stop my manifest for an impromptu lumber pickup and backed into the siding. When I coupled to the cars I teleported back to the mainline. I ignored it and continued on. It must have set off a switch because I ran into an oncoming train after taking it's siding. Whoops!
Last but not least I was putting together a local in CP Komerie (definitely not the name but I forgot) and I was picking up the second cut. Coupled to them fine. Disconnected from the ones I needed to leave behind then magic happens. I end up pulling out of a spur somewhere off the main line a distance from the yard with a different cut attached to my train.
Hi J,
Thanks for the ORSavePack. Will take a look and respond.
