Bug Description
While the dialog to build the project definition tree is open, each change to the tree causes an immediate re-calculation of all the indices and a re-styling of the map, depending on the results of calculations. This is good to show on-the-fly how changes to the model impact the composite indices, but it can be time-consuming and it could make the dialog respond quite slow if the project is complex.
An additional checkbox in the dialog could allow the user to toggle the on-the-fly re-calculations, so it would be possible to build the model and let the plugin calculate everything after the dialog is closed.
