In Konsole, do: wget http://ubuntu.linux-bg.org/ubuntu//pool/main/l/linux/linux-image-2.6.35-30-generic_2.6.35-30.54_i386.deb sudo dpkg -i linux-image-2.6.35-30-generic_2.6.35-30.54_i386.deb Then reboot and choose the older kernel. You can also upgrade to a kernel from oneiric. You will have to find it in packages.ubuntu.com, download it, install it and then download and install the missing dependencies also from oneiric. I have tried it, it works, but I found it simpler to use the older kernel just when I want to watch movies through my tv screen. Donatas 2011/9/21 Ste
