Bug Description
I love the new OpenStore design, but i have some ideas on how to improve the "Discover" page.
# Header image
There should be a rotation of header images featuring the best hand-picked Apps from the store. The app on display can then change every time the discover page is visited.
# More sections
There should be more than three sections of apps. These could be a mixture of automatically selected and curated apps. The lists could be randomly sorted, so that every visit to the discover page becomes a unique experience. Here are some examples (Including current and previous sections):
- Top Apps: Apps that are in the Header-image rotation (curated)
- New: Apps that are new to the store (auto)
- Essentials: Productivity apps everybody needs (curated)
- [Category]: Content of a random category (auto)
- Games: The best games from the store (curated)
- Recently updated: These apps have a new version (auto)
- Hack with us: The best tools to break confinement (curated)
- Exclusives: These apps are only available on Ubuntu Touch and in the OpenStore (curated)
