This fix should not have been pushed to the Cactus section of docs.openstack.org. You now have a manual that instructs the user to install Cactus release of Nova, and then a trunk version of the Dashboard. The configuration of authentication is totally different, and I'm not sure if the authentication mechanism (Keystone?) that the new Dashboard code uses even exists in the Cactus release of Nova.

Ah okay thanks for pointing this out. Can people get a Cactus compatible dashboard using rev 46 then?

Yep, it worked for me when I used rev 46 with a Cactus Nova, following your
old instructions to configure it.
