Can't this bug be resolved in openstack end user guides?
Adding table sorting in manage resources(all applicable resources) can inform the user
about the functionality
https://bugs.launchpad.net/horizon/+bug/1287418
Compound sorting should be more obvious

More information: This bug describes an addition for Developers of Horizon. Specifically, for compound table sorting. The proposed change was previously suggested for the horizon developer documentation: https://review.openstack.org/#/c/109164/1/doc/source/topics/tables.rst

The issue is that the compound sorting feature that is available to users (by using the shift key when selecting columns) is not obvious, and should be pointed out in the user-facing documentation.

Change https://review.openstack.org/#/c/109164/1/doc/source/topics/tables.rst incorrectly tried to place this information in developer documentation, and as the code reviewers indicated, this information belongs in user-facing documtation instead of developer-facing documentation.

Changed in horizon:
status: New → Won't Fix
