Bug Description
The preferred practice is to use service names instead of port numbers for endpoints.
For example,

We use port numbers throughout the Install Guide, both for creating endpoints and configuring services. Addressing this bug will require updating the "Install and configure" sections for each service.
Note that everything works fine with ports, so this is not a pressing issue.
