Reading through this thread, http://lists.openstack.org/pipermail/openstack-operators/2016-November/011969.html I sense that there should be more explanation of what is happening with the ``nova image-create --poll myInstance myInstanceSnapshot`` command.

Looking at http://lists.openstack.org/pipermail/openstack-operators/2016-November/011971.html it seems there should be more info about when to use nova snapshot and when to use openstack snapshot and whether Ceph is a factor or the size of the image or volume is a factor.
