b)os-vol-host-attr:host

It should be like:
a)cinder migrate 6088f80a-f116-4331-ad48-9afb0dfb196c server2@lvmstorage-2#pool_name2
b)os-vol-host-attr:host | server2@lvmstorage-2#pool_name2
   os-vol-host-attr:host | server1@lvmstorage-1#pool_name1

Also,
s/'OpenStack has the ability to migrate volumes between back-ends'/'OpenStack has the ability to migrate volumes between back-ends having same volume-type' should be good in IMO.
For different volume types,we have to do retyping.

All the pools can be got by the command 'cinder get-pools', and the output is like following which is needed in the migrate command.
server2@lvmstorage-2#pool_name2
server1@lvmstorage-1#pool_name1

i think we still missed #lvmstorage-2 in below command in the fix merged:
cinder migrate 6088f80a-f116-4331-ad48-9afb0dfb196c server2@lvmstorage-2

It should be
cinder migrate 6088f80a-f116-4331-ad48-9afb0dfb196c server2@lvmstorage-2#lvmstorage-2

Also, it is best if we can test also what we are giving in manual

It might be not possible to include everything but it would be easy if we can document somewhere about "how to configure multi-backends using lvm that support same volume type"
