Bug Description
In paragraph "A most basic template" I read "Each HOT template has to include the heat_template_
This is not correct, in general, because I think you should write the heat version you want to use.
In addition, the sentence is in contrast with the example reported in par. "Making your template resource more transparent" (just to mention one) where the version is 2014-10-16.
In this context it would be very useful to have the list of the available versions that can be found here http://
In case the developers update the page, the document is implicitly and automatically updated.

Additional comment.
In this context it would be useful to have indications on how to retrieve the HOT version currently supported by the heat service you are using. /blueprints. launchpad. net/heat/ +spec/heat- build-info the engineers have implemented a new feature that corresponds to command "heat build-info" for that purpose.
According to https:/
The funny thing is that, at the time of writing, the command does not retrieve useful information because when I submit that it returns:
api "revision": "unknown"
engine "revision": "unknown"
This behavior is due to the implementation that gets these two pieces of information from a configuration file and currently they are both set to "unknown" https:/ /review. openstack. org/#/c/ 55434/11/ etc/heat/ heat.conf. sample
