Bug Description
This is a minor issue.
On par. "Object Storage API overview", the first sentence claims that "OpenStack Object Storage is an object-based storage system that stores content and metadata as objects."
Actually "contents" (that I'm assuming to be "files") are stored as "objects" but metadata are not stored as "objects".
In other word, according to the naming conventions in the document, the term "object" and the term "file" are used as synonyms while metadata is information associated to any *entity* stored in the Object Store, namely objects/files, accounts and containers.
I would propose to substitute the entire paragraph ("OpenStack Object Storage is an object-based storage system that stores content and metadata as objects. You create, modify, and get objects and metadata by using the Object Storage API, which is implemented as a set of Representational State Transfer (REST) web services.") with a simple sentence saying "Swift is a highly available, distributed, eventually consistent object/blob store" (ref. https:/

It appears that this page has been updated since the creation of this bug.
The first sentence of the page in question now says, "Manages the accounts, containers, and objects in the Object Storage system."
I think this issue has been solved?
