I went to this link, http://docs.openstack.org/grizzly/openstack-compute/admin/content/ch_image_mgmt.html. There it had a link to glance-command-line tool, http://docs.openstack.org/cli/quick-start/content/glance_client.html. However, that link is dead. Like I mentioned too, I had a similar issue with another openstack command line tool, Swift. I needed to review something concerning Swift CLI installation, and I always used this link in the past, http://docs.openstack.org/cli/quick-start/content/install_openstack_swift_cli.html. It's also dead, and as far as I know, has been for sometime now. It appears that the quick-start guides made have been dropped from Open Stack documentation, though I found them useful. Does anyone know of the status of those and/or should I be talking to some other queue about this?
Again, I can find other links to get the information I need, but it's always nice to use the direct OpenStack documention, especially if it's affiliated to the new Grizzly release. For example, I found this link to Glance CLI tool, http://docs.openstack.org/trunk/openstack-image-service/admin/content/using-the-glance-cli-tool.html, but it's for the old release of Diablo. I'm sure it hasn't changed a whole lot, but again, having the documentation matching up to the release we're using would be good.
The old diablo glance docs missing is also reported in bug 1098726.
