Configuration for Neutron LInux Bridge unclear

Bug Description

This suggests that you should create two names associated with different physical networks ("physnet1" and "physnet2").
However this only defines "physnet1". Additionally, it does not explain that you cannot map two physical networks to the same ethernet interface, e.g. "physical_interface_mappings: physnet2:eth1,physnet1:eth1" will fail.

Hi Edgar, I see that the manuals have undergone considerable revision in the last two months. In fact, at this point I can no longer find the detailed instructions for configuring either OVS or LinuxBridge, including the switch mapping diagrams that were extremely helpful. Do you know where those went? And how we can make the configuration more clear in this case?

This bug got totally out of my visibility. There is a huge work on refactoring the installation guide with a specific focus on the networking side:
I will add this bug in the list of bugs assigned to this BP.
