Prominently feature release on HTML output rather than just in URL

Bug Description

Suggested on the mailing list. Rather than just relying on docs.openstack.org/releasename/ in the URL, how about "putting the version somewhere prominently on the page (say, the upper right hand corner, above "<prev|up|next>")."

Wonder if there's something we could just bake into the output, subscribing David Cramer as well.

So the version is appended to the title in that header area. see "API
v2" in "Rackspace Manuals Next Generation Cloud Servers™ Getting Started
 - API v2"
That comes from releasinfo:

<book>
 <info>
...
    <releaseinfo>API v1</releaseinfo>
...
 </info>
...

Would that work?

David

No, we already use releaseinfo and it's output.

I think this is about where on the screen it's displayed? The grey bar isn't prominent enough, possibly.

So the suggestion would be to put <releaseinfo>'s text above the PREV | NEXT links.

If someone can mock-up the desired look in html, I can put it in the xslts.

I think this is another duplicate of https://bugs.launchpad.net/openstack-manuals/+bug/1191447 - so going to mark it as such, so we can track them all in one place (and reduce our bug count)
