Bug Description
Confirmed by SamYaple on IRC, at least some users cannot login to ask.openstack.org at the moment.
What happens is
1) Visit https:/
2) Click Launchpad button
3) A yellow banner is displayed across the top of the page with the text: "OpenID https:/
The user never gets the opportunity to enter their login information, and the error appears even in a completely empty session (eg firefox private tab)

Something may have changed in the way Launchpad behaves. Evgeny enabled the generic OpenID provider and logging in using https:/ /login. ubuntu. com as auth URL works fine.
I tried logging in using the default OpenID and providing https:/ /launchpad. net/~smaffulli as URL, the authentication fails with message:
"Server denied check_authentic ation"
