Bug Description
It's really annoying that I can't post links, moderate questions, etc. E.g. do a bunch of stuff that would be useful for the OpenStack community. The proposed solution is to pull in reputation from existing Launchpad projects. Or just turn off the restrictions on posting meaningful questions with good formatting.

Scott, I think pulling in karma from launchpad is a good idea but I don't know how those numbers compare to the numbers of Ask. Maybe it's easier to provide a way for people to simply ask for their karma on Ask to be raised?
In any case, getting to 100 points only takes 10 +1 votes, it should not be that hard (although I noticed not many people vote on answers). I'm raising your karma right now and will investigate porting the karma points from Launchpad.
