Xenserver plugins for nova and quantum require 2.4 for their agents. We do NOT want to attempt to support 2.4 for all of the projects, so before we can run anything on this slave, we need tox jobs that are not run by default, run with 2.4 explicitly, and only test the relevant code. (mnewby is working on this)
From a CI perspective, I do not believe our current jenkins_slave puppet module is likely to work on a centos machine without some modification. However, if we can get that working, then adding a jcloud slave template into jenkins to support these jobs should be straight-forward. |
We run 2.6 tests on oneiric slaves because there is not a newer ubuntu that has it. But we support 2.6 because we care about RHEL. So, we should just run RHEL.
We need license stuff. |
