Gerrit should have a single page diff view

The one-page-per-file approach of gerrit is annoying for viewing the overall context or idea of a merge. A single-page diff like launchpad and github both have would be stellar.

Looks like someone posted a patch for gerrit and it is not merged yet.

Yes, this is correct. But the patch is unmergable upstream, because of CLA issues. And then given the size of the patch, we did not want to apply it directly to our gerrit, because we'd have to maintain it and it's a large feature. I think we're going to have to develop this feature ourselves. :(

Marked wontfix as this is an upstream issue. Once it's eventually addressed there we'll naturally inherit it in our production systems though the normal course of upgrading.
