Bug Description

hello,
i'm very far to be a specialist of linux and openshot but i'm trying to make a short movie containing mostly pictures.
i have ubuntu 10.04 lts and i started my project with openshot 1.1.3 but then downloaded openshot 1.4.1 because i faced some transition bug (flash of the next picture appearing in the middle of the transition)
so i went further with the same project but with the new version of openshot.
when i have a zoom of 2seconds i have no problem but if i want to zoom in further to 1 second, i cannot see my project after the 5th minute while my project is 15 minutes long and full with pictures till the 11th minute.
what can i do?
gael

Hi,
You should update your version of MLT (she seems old) which should remove you this bug on the timeline.
See here how to do this operation : https://answers.launchpad.net/openshot/+faq/1861
Thanks.

Hi,

Thank you very much for your help.

I updated my version of MLT with the following lines:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:sunab/kdenlive-release
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade libmlt4, libmlt-data libmlt++3 python-mlt3 melt

But still I have the same problem unfortunately...

It is a goocanvas bug that we can't resolve currently. goocanvas drawn the timeline. The only solution is to increase the zoom bar or not to get down at less of 2 seconds in your case.
We hope that the new version of goocanvas will remove this bug (and the GTK3 port too).
