Bug Description
Hi,
A ask of a French user done on two forums and that I have even seen at the RMLL 2011 at Strasbourg for a tiny issue.
Indeed, when we are using the Advanced tab in the export screen to create a matroska format (for sample, matroska, libx264, aac) we have an extension .matroska instead of .mkv. And I must said that's not professional and the good practice is to have an .mkv.
It would be nice if it was modified in the next milestone.
Thanks.

Because OpenShot gets the list of format and codecs from MLT, and MLT gets the list from a FFmpeg command line (ffmpeg -formats), this is a very tricky to fix issue. Perhaps, if someone finds the time, they can create an XML file to help provide "Common Names" for many of the more popular formats:
For example: libx264 should be "H.264".
